Exclusive interview With Angela Pitts Known as Myammee from "FLAVOR OF LOVE", and the winner of "I LOVE MONEY"!!!!
1. How do you think going on reality tv show "Flavor of Love" and actually winning reality tv show "I Love Money" helped your platform?
- It did exactly what it needed to do. I haven't used it yet but very soon it will be worth it.
2. What was it like living in the house on both "Flavor of Love" and "I Love Money"?
-Very Different, you gotta share your space with others who you gotta trust around your things. Share bathrooms etc. But on Flav I had the best bed in the entire house, not a twin bed like everybody else and kind of clean roomates... on ILM2 I had great roommates they were clean. So I guess I had a great experience with roommates.
3. It was Clear as day on "Flavor of Love" they set you up to get you out the house, how did that make you feel? Is there anything different you would of done today, that you didn't do then when that situation came up to help you stay in the house longer?
- It was while ago, like almost 4years ago, And I have to just say things happened for a reason. I made a good impact on FOL to the point that they invited to come on ILM2. So to those girls on my season who were involved karma paid because they simply disappeared.
4. Do you keep in contact with any of cast members from "Flavor of Love" or "I Love Money" today?
I keep in contact with a few people and few others from other "Love" shows we will always share that bond.
5. When was the lastime you seen any of the cast members?
Its been maybe a year or so.
6. It's known that you are Rattler "FAMU GRADUATE", how is now when you go back there to visit? Does it still feel the same or do people treat you different becuse you were on tv?
I haven't been back to FAMU to visit as a guest or been back since the shows. But ive been thinking bout going back to visit some of my old professors and tell them thank you,
7. Looking back on it today do you have any regrets on doing reality tv at all? If the opportunity was presented to you again today would you do it again?
- I never regret anything. how everything went and happened it was meant to happen. Ill do it all over again and wont change anything about or in the process.
8. Have you ever appeared on any other reality tv shows after "Flavor of Love" and "I Love Money"?
- I did Oxygen this year " Find me my Man" it was very entertaining and informative. I also did my own show on Youtube which was a trip, Lol....
9. Can we ever expect to see you on reality tv or just tv period in the future?
- I surely believe you will see me again on a few things. I don't know what it will be but I really believe TV is meant for me, in my due season of course. Sometimes we have to be patient and let the God direct us. But having eyes on me was his plan in the beginning. So watch out and see what happens.
10. Has there been a time in your life were you ran into any obstacle that may of set you back in life? If so how did you over come it?- Of course we all have obstacles. We all have things that may look like a set back but they all are here to make us come up and back better than ever. We should never look at nothing as a Setback, but a setup for the next great thing that is lined up. Remember things happen for a reason and that reason is always for us to grow from and learn so it wont be repeated. I always keep GOD in my focus when I think im facing something crazy, because he is the only one who can pick you up and take you to the next step and give you that peace as you face it.11. What would you say are some of your greatest accomplishments in life?
-- Good question.... I haven't got to them yet. But ill have to say keeping my dignity, keeping my morals and standards very high, staying humble, staying true to myself, becoming more wise. the list can go on and on. Ive seen and heard of people doing the saddest things to stay relevant, popular, and to keep up with the "jones's"... So my greatest accomplishment is being satisfied with ME and accepting ME for who I am and who Im not, and NOT doing "whatever" it takes to get somewhere. im very proud of myself. I never tried to fit in with the crowd and do what the others are doing. I just do ME!
Ive been like that since I was young like all the way back to elementary.
12. Shortly after winning $500k on "I LOVE MONEY" you invested in opening "Myammee's Hair Spa". How did that all come about what made you decide to take the route of opening up a hair spa?
- I didn't win 500K... but a small portion did help fund me creating my 1st business which was " Myammme's Hair Spa". Which you can go look at the entire process at www.ProjectMyammee.com and that site will be changing soon with adding other projects im working on.
I always knew I wanted to become a entrepreneur so I became one in 2010 before everybody else started this new trend " of opening a business". I always love hair and I wanted a shop of my own that was gorgeous and did amazing hair!
13. So tell me a little about "Myammee's Hair Spa" what type of services do you offer?
- If you follow me and are familiar with me or simply see what's been up with me. You would know I sold the salon this year. So im moving forward with other projects and
currently im a realtor with Keller Williams Realty as well.
14. Where would you like to yourself and "Myammee's Hair Spa" in the next five years?
--- I would see MYSELF in the next 5years finally being in my life purpose and in my passion doing what I love to do. I have so many other things that I want to do which I am currently preparing for right now. So in 5years www.ProjectMyammee.com
15. Do you have any new projects your currently working on?-- I actually do have a few projects im working on. One of those projects is ME! giving a little time for myself and discovering who is Myammee and who is Angela and are they same? or different? But sometimes we all need some "me" time away from all that. I needed this break since FOL up until 2012. I was busy trying to make things happen. Now im focused on me, creating a better relationship with GOD and all other things always fall in place, because they have already started to fall in place.
I will end with this: when things are meant for you, no matter how far you try to distance yourself they always seem to come looking for you and get you back on track, but it is important to let go sometimes to find who you really are and then allow and trust God that what he brings to you is better than what you think you lost.
